Auction result well in line with expectations
The work !Idiota, eres tu mismo¡ by Luis Gordillo was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in June 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,352.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Luis Gordillo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trio in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 192,250.00.

Die Arbeit !Idiota, eres tu mismo¡ von Luis Gordillo wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.352,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luis Gordillo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trio im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 192.250,00.
