In September 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Ludwig Sander. The »bidding war« ended at USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,695.40), 72% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ludwig Sander - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Athabascan Viii, which sold at auction in March 2015 for USD 35,000.00 (€ 32,585.42).

Im September 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ludwig Sander zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.695,40) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ludwig Sander mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Athabascan Viii beobachtet, die im März 2015 für USD 35.000,00 (€ 32.585,42) versteigert wurde.
