This artwork by Lucas Arruda achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March 2021. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work without title sold for GBP 176,400.00 (€ 207,224.56) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lucas Arruda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled from the series Deserto-Modelo, which sold at auction in November 2021 for HKD 3,780,000.00 (€ 420,297.69).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lucas Arruda erzielte im März 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 176.400,00 (€ 207.224,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 90.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lucas Arruda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled from the series Deserto-Modelo beobachtet, die im November 2021 für HKD 3.780.000,00 (€ 420.297,69) versteigert wurde.
