Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Heart, 2011 by Luc Tuymans was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in Brussels in December this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,920.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luc Tuymans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mrs. in February 2016 with an auction result of GBP 1,482,500.00 (€ 1,899,640.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Heart, 2011 von Luc Tuymans wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in Brüssel versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.920,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luc Tuymans erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mrs. im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.482.500,00 (€ 1.899.640,69).
