Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sous-Bois by Louis Gaidan was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Artcurial in October 2014. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 18,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis Gaidan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mas en Provence, which sold at auction in February 2018 for GBP 40,000.00 (€ 45,185.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sous-Bois von Louis Gaidan wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 18.200,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Louis Gaidan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mas en Provence beobachtet, die im Februar 2018 für GBP 40.000,00 (€ 45.185,49) versteigert wurde.
