Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2009 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Saint-Tropez, Bateaux Dans Le Port, 1904 by Louis Gaidan. The price achieved of EUR 1,530.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Gaidan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mas en Provence in February 2018 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 45,185.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2009 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Saint-Tropez, Bateaux Dans Le Port, 1904 von Louis Gaidan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.530,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Gaidan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mas en Provence im Februar 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 45.185,49).
