Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Louis Gaidan could be acquired at Sothebys in Olympia in July 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist and Modern Art auction, the work Les Ruines Romaines De Saint-Rémy-De-Provence changed hands for GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,277.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Gaidan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mas en Provence in February 2018 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 45,185.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Louis Gaidan konnte im Juli 2007 bei Sothebys in Olympia für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art wechselte die Arbeit Les Ruines Romaines De Saint-Rémy-De-Provence für GBP 2.880,00 (€ 4.277,46) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Gaidan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mas en Provence im Februar 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 45.185,49).
