In May last year Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Day Auction, which included the work Sin título by Loló Soldevilla. The »bidding war« ended at USD 47,880.00 (€ 44,618.40), 60% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Loló Soldevilla; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Nocturno No. 6 sold at auction in November 2019 with the realized price of USD 93,750.00 (€ 85,080.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sin título von Loló Soldevilla zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 47.880,00 (€ 44.618,40) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Loló Soldevilla; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Nocturno No. 6 im November 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 85.080,32).
