The work Circulation Of The Essence by Liu Jiutong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 63,941.96), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Liu Jiutong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mountain Against Island, which sold at auction in November 2015 for HKD 1,360,000.00 (€ 166,104.90).

Die Arbeit Circulation Of The Essence von Liu Jiutong kam im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 63.941,96) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53%. Für andere Arbeiten von Liu Jiutong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mountain Against Island beobachtet, die im November 2015 für HKD 1.360.000,00 (€ 166.104,90) versteigert wurde.
