Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Some Page (No. 2) by Liang Yuanwei was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in November 2021. The price achieved of HKD 126,000.00 (€ 14,009.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liang Yuanwei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Styx River in May this year with an auction result of HKD 14,895,000.00 (€ 1,785,330.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Some Page (No. 2) von Liang Yuanwei kam im November 2021 bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 126.000,00 (€ 14.009,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liang Yuanwei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Styx River im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 14.895.000,00 (€ 1.785.330,86).
