Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Piece Of Life by Liang Yuanwei was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 128,755.94) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 900,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liang Yuanwei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Styx River in May this year with an auction result of HKD 14,895,000.00 (€ 1,785,330.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Piece Of Life von Liang Yuanwei kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 128.755,94) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 900.000,00 – 1.200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liang Yuanwei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Styx River im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 14.895.000,00 (€ 1.785.330,86).
