Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2018 POLY held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Piece Of Life-No. 6 by Liang Yuanwei. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 1,600,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 1,652,000.00 (€ 186,457.30). Admittedly, works by Liang Yuanwei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Styx River in May this year with an auction result of HKD 14,895,000.00 (€ 1,785,330.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2018 führte POLY die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Piece Of Life-No. 6 von Liang Yuanwei zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 1.600.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 1.652.000,00 (€ 186.457,30) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Yuanwei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Styx River im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 14.895.000,00 (€ 1.785.330,86).
