Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 2015.01 by Liang Yuanwei was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in October this year. The price achieved of HKD 1,524,000.00 (€ 184,299.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,200,000.00 – 2,200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liang Yuanwei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Styx River in May this year with an auction result of HKD 14,895,000.00 (€ 1,785,330.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 2015.01 von Liang Yuanwei wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.524.000,00 (€ 184.299,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.200.000,00 – 2.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Yuanwei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Styx River im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 14.895.000,00 (€ 1.785.330,86).
