Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Leonardo Nierman could be acquired at Christies in New York in March 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The House Sale auction, the work Moonlight changed hands for USD 1,200.00 (€ 897.26) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leonardo Nierman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aurora Borealis (Artic Sunrise) in October 2010 with an auction result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,598.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Leonardo Nierman konnte im März 2007 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The House Sale wechselte die Arbeit Moonlight für USD 1.200,00 (€ 897,26) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonardo Nierman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aurora Borealis (Artic Sunrise) im Oktober 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.598,68).
