Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cityscape by Leonardo Nierman was sold in the The House Sale auction at Christies in New York in July 2006. The price achieved of USD 1,800.00 (€ 1,410.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leonardo Nierman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Aurora Borealis (Artic Sunrise), which sold at auction in October 2010 for USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,598.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cityscape von Leonardo Nierman wurde im Juli 2006 in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.800,00 (€ 1.410,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Leonardo Nierman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Aurora Borealis (Artic Sunrise) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2010 für USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.598,68) versteigert wurde.
