Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Number 33 by Leonardo Drew was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2008. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,101.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonardo Drew achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Number 23 in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 105,000.00 (€ 95,203.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Number 33 von Leonardo Drew wurde im September 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.101,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leonardo Drew erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Number 23 im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 105.000,00 (€ 95.203,55).
