Each signed, dated, annotated in pencil, Magnum copyright credit and 'Vintage Print' stamps on the verso. Two with additional New York Times Magazine caption stamps on the verso.

Despite a disappointment, a good price for Leonard Freed
In October 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Selected images from Police Work by Leonard Freed for USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,262.73). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs Evening & Day at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Selected images from Police Work is the most expensive artwork by Leonard Freed that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Leonard Freed
Im Oktober 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Selected images from Police Work von Leonard Freed für USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.262,73) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs Evening & Day bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Selected images from Police Work das teuerste Kunstwerk von Leonard Freed, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
