The work Vase De Fleurs by Léon de Smet was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in June 2016. The auction ended at the price of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 42,011.42), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Léon de Smet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roze Harmonie in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 485,000.00 (€ 668,742.97).

Die Arbeit Vase De Fleurs von Léon de Smet wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 42.011,42) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Léon de Smet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roze Harmonie im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 485.000,00 (€ 668.742,97).
