Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Farmhouses by Léon de Smet was auctioned at Sothebys in London in February 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,207.18). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Léon de Smet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roze Harmonie in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 485,000.00 (€ 668,742.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Farmhouses von Léon de Smet kam im Februar 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.207,18) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Léon de Smet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roze Harmonie im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 485.000,00 (€ 668.742,97).
