Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Leo Gabin could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Salty Creep All Day changed hands for USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,737.40) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leo Gabin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Braid Tutorial in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 37,614.82).
