Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2007 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Leo de Goede for USD 2,625.00 (€ 1,846.12). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Part I and Part II at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leo de Goede - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in December 2005 for GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,573.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2007 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Leo de Goede für USD 2.625,00 (€ 1.846,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Part I and Part II bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Leo de Goede mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Dezember 2005 für GBP 3.840,00 (€ 5.573,55) versteigert wurde.
