Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ranchos de Taos Church by Laura Gilpin was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,804.60). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Laura Gilpin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Ranchos Church', which sold at auction in July 2020 for USD 31,250.00 (€ 26,541.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ranchos de Taos Church von Laura Gilpin kam im Oktober 2017 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.804,60) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Laura Gilpin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Ranchos Church' beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für USD 31.250,00 (€ 26.541,53) versteigert wurde.
