Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Larry Zox could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the No Reserve Prints and Multiples Holiday Online Sale auction, the work Rotation I changed hands for USD 162.50 (€ 141.85) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Larry Zox achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quaminis in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 29,033.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Larry Zox konnte im Dezember 2018 bei Bonhams in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion No Reserve Prints and Multiples Holiday Online Sale wechselte die Arbeit Rotation I für USD 162,50 (€ 141,85) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Larry Zox erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Quaminis im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 29.033,90).
