A top price for Larry Bell
In May 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included this untitled work by Larry Bell. The »bidding war« ended at USD 623,400.00 (€ 400,642.67), 56% above the upper estimate. This high result makes the work without title the most expensive artwork by Larry Bell that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Larry Bell zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 623.400,00 (€ 400.642,67) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht das Werk ohne Titel zum teuersten Kunstwerk von Larry Bell, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
