Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Kurt Kappa Kocherscheidt could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,288.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kurt Kappa Kocherscheidt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September 2010 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,028.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kurt Kappa Kocherscheidt konnte im März 2011 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.288,02) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Kurt Kappa Kocherscheidt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September 2010 für USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.028,60) versteigert wurde.
