Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Kurt Kappa Kocherscheidt was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in New York in June 2012. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,946.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kurt Kappa Kocherscheidt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September 2010 for USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,028.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kurt Kappa Kocherscheidt wurde im Juni 2012 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.946,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Kurt Kappa Kocherscheidt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September 2010 für USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.028,60) versteigert wurde.
