Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War to Present, which included the work Piracy by Kour Pour. The price achieved of USD 60,000.00 (€ 51,094.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kour Pour - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Love Child , which sold at auction in April 2015 for USD 162,500.00 (€ 145,583.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War to Present durch, in der auch die Arbeit Piracy von Kour Pour zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 51.094,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Kour Pour mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Love Child beobachtet, die im April 2015 für USD 162.500,00 (€ 145.583,23) versteigert wurde.
