This artwork by Kour Pour achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Doha in April 2015. In the Contemporary Art / Doha auction, the work Love Child sold for USD 162,500.00 (€ 145,583.23) - well above the upper estimate of USD 90,000.00. This high result makes Love Child the most expensive artwork by Kour Pour that we have observed at auctions so far.
