Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tetris by Kour Pour was sold in the New Now Day Sale auction at Phillips in New York in February 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 43,750.00 (€ 40,255.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kour Pour - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Love Child , which sold at auction in April 2015 for USD 162,500.00 (€ 145,583.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tetris von Kour Pour wurde im Februar 2016 in der Auktion New Now Day Sale bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 40.255,80) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Kour Pour mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Love Child beobachtet, die im April 2015 für USD 162.500,00 (€ 145.583,23) versteigert wurde.
