Auction result well in line with expectations
The work For Ever by Kon Trubkovich was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in March 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,789.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kon Trubkovich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Out of the black and into the white in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 47,276.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit For Ever von Kon Trubkovich wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.789,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kon Trubkovich auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Out of the black and into the white im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 47.276,85).
