Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Post War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans titre by Kokuta Suda. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,816.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kokuta Suda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,205.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Kokuta Suda zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.816,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kokuta Suda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.205,98).
