Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled, 1960 by Kokuta Suda was sold in the Japanese and Korean Art auction at Christies in New York in September 2020. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,266.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kokuta Suda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,205.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled, 1960 von Kokuta Suda wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Japanese and Korean Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.266,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kokuta Suda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.205,98).
