Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Kokuta Suda was auctioned at Christies in New York in March last year. The price achieved of USD 6,300.00 (€ 5,679.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kokuta Suda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2016 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,205.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kokuta Suda kam im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.300,00 (€ 5.679,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kokuta Suda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.205,98).
