The work Blue Fish 2 by Kim Joon was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in November 2009. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 6,669.33), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Kim Joon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blue Fish in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 21,875.00 (€ 30,414.89).

Die Arbeit Blue Fish 2 von Kim Joon wurde im November 2009 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 6.669,33) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kim Joon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blue Fish im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.875,00 (€ 30.414,89).
