Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Golden Hour- Romeo & Juliet by Kim Joon was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,985.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Kim Joon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blue Fish in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 21,875.00 (€ 30,414.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Golden Hour- Romeo & Juliet von Kim Joon kam im Oktober 2014 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.985,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kim Joon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blue Fish im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.875,00 (€ 30.414,89).
