Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2011 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction The Jan & Monique des Bouvrie Collection, which included the work Duet-wave (from the series Duets) by Kim Joon. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kim Joon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blue Fish in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 21,875.00 (€ 30,414.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2011 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion The Jan & Monique des Bouvrie Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Duet-wave (from the series Duets) von Kim Joon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kim Joon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blue Fish im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.875,00 (€ 30.414,89).
