Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Duet-incanto by Kim Joon was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2013. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,850.43) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kim Joon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blue Fish, which sold at auction in May 2015 for GBP 21,875.00 (€ 30,414.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Duet-incanto von Kim Joon kam im April 2013 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.850,43) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Kim Joon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blue Fish beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für GBP 21.875,00 (€ 30.414,89) versteigert wurde.
