Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session), which included the work Box Series – Head Of A Parrot by Key Hiraga. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,444.97). Admittedly, works by Key Hiraga have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fenetre (Window) in March 2018 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 90,482.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Box Series – Head Of A Parrot von Key Hiraga zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.444,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Key Hiraga auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fenetre (Window) im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 90.482,95).
