Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Untitled (From The Psychics Series) (Backdrop Painting) by Kerstin Brätsch. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 17,343.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kerstin Brätsch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Quasi in rem, which sold at auction in June 2012 for GBP 32,450.00 (€ 40,180.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (From The Psychics Series) (Backdrop Painting) von Kerstin Brätsch zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 17.343,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Kerstin Brätsch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Quasi in rem beobachtet, die im Juni 2012 für GBP 32.450,00 (€ 40.180,83) versteigert wurde.
