This artwork by Kerstin Brätsch achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2021. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Unstable Talismanic Rendering 28 (With Gratitude To Master Marbler Dirk Lange) sold for GBP 16,380.00 (€ 18,841.77) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kerstin Brätsch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Quasi in rem, which sold at auction in June 2012 for GBP 32,450.00 (€ 40,180.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kerstin Brätsch erzielte im April 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wurde die Arbeit Unstable Talismanic Rendering 28 (With Gratitude To Master Marbler Dirk Lange) für GBP 16.380,00 (€ 18.841,77) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Kerstin Brätsch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Quasi in rem beobachtet, die im Juni 2012 für GBP 32.450,00 (€ 40.180,83) versteigert wurde.
