Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2021 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work No Neck (From Swiss Spa Cava Stars/Stripes Series) by Kerstin Brätsch. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,152.71). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kerstin Brätsch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Quasi in rem, which sold at auction in June 2012 for GBP 32,450.00 (€ 40,180.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit No Neck (From Swiss Spa Cava Stars/Stripes Series) von Kerstin Brätsch zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.152,71) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Kerstin Brätsch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Quasi in rem beobachtet, die im Juni 2012 für GBP 32.450,00 (€ 40.180,83) versteigert wurde.
