Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Maple by Kenzo Okada was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2010. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,595.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kenzo Okada achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Homage in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 107,112.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Maple von Kenzo Okada kam im September 2010 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.595,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kenzo Okada erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Homage im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 107.112,25).
