Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Coffee Shop at the Chicago Art Institute, from Interior Series by Kenneth Price was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June this year. The price achieved of USD 960.00 (€ 879.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kenneth Price achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work M. Green in May this year with an auction result of USD 554,400.00 (€ 520,367.94).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 960,00 (€ 879,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kenneth Price erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit M.
