The work Chandelier Project by Keith Sonnier was sold in the First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in July 2018. The result of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,562.79) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Sonnier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,935.62).

Die Arbeit Chandelier Project von Keith Sonnier wurde im Juli 2018 in der Auktion First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.562,79) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Sonnier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.935,62).
