Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Total balance by Kees Verkade was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2011. The price achieved of EUR 37,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Kees Verkade have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2011 the work Casmira dansant was auctioned for EUR 49,000.00.
