The work I. Nous Trois Ii. Mother And Child by Kees Verkade was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings & Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in June 2010. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,375.00 56% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Kees Verkade have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Casmira dansant in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 49,000.00.

Die Arbeit I. Nous Trois Ii. Mother And Child von Kees Verkade wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.375,00 und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kees Verkade auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Casmira dansant im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 49.000,00.
