Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Barca-Columpio by Kcho for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 5,184.57). This price was achieved in the auction Bear Witness | #SothebysBearWitness at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Kcho have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La columna infinita II in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 73,000.00 (€ 49,700.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Barca-Columpio von Kcho für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 5.184,57) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Bear Witness | #SothebysBearWitness bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kcho auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La columna infinita II im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 73.000,00 (€ 49.700,44).
