This artwork by Kcho achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October this year. In the Latin American Art Online auction, the work Instalación Tanques sold for USD 5,292.00 (€ 5,007.57) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kcho have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La columna infinita II in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 73,000.00 (€ 49,700.44).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Kcho erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin American Art Online wurde die Arbeit Instalación Tanques für USD 5.292,00 (€ 5.007,57) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kcho auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La columna infinita II im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 73.000,00 (€ 49.700,44).
