Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Speaking of the Obvious Was Never a Pleasure for Us (Hablar de lo evidente nunca fue para nosotros un placer) by Kcho for USD 625.00 (€ 533.91). This price was achieved in the auction Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018 at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kcho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La columna infinita II in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 73,000.00 (€ 49,700.44).

Im Juli 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Speaking of the Obvious Was Never a Pleasure for Us (Hablar de lo evidente nunca fue para nosotros un placer) von Kcho für USD 625,00 (€ 533,91) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kcho erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La columna infinita II im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 73.000,00 (€ 49.700,44).
