It achieved a price of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,252.39), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kaz Oshiro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work File Cabinets (black/black), which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 52,500.00 (€ 42,209.36).

Die Arbeit Wall Cabinet #9 von Kaz Oshiro wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.252,39) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Für andere Arbeiten von Kaz Oshiro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit File Cabinets (black/black) beobachtet, die im November 2014 für USD 52.500,00 (€ 42.209,36) versteigert wurde.
